Golden Temple  : It is the most visited tourist attraction of Amritsar,located in the heart of the city The Golden temple is the holiest shrine for the Sikhs, so called because the entire upper half was inlaid with copper covered over by gold plate. The architecture of the Golden Temple, is a blend of Hindu and Muslim styles.
 
Jalianwala Bagh : The huge ground, a reminder of the martyrdom of innocent Indians and the brutality of British General Dwyer, is Jalianwala Bagh.The grounds are surrounded by high building walls on all sides, except a narrow access lane. A memorial plaque at the entrance recounts the history of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Inside, a martyrs’ memorial stands on the eastern end, while the well and bullet-ridden walls remain testimonials to the bloody massacre.
 
Durgiana Mandir : It also houses a wonderful temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga.the temple lies in the middle of a medium sized lake giving it a wonderful overall view.Durgiana Mandir also offers puja to deities of Lakshmi and Narayana.

Tarn Taran (25 Km) : 25 km south of Amritsar.It is sacred tank, which is believed to have curative powers.It is believed that if a leper successfully swims across the tank, he or she can be cured of the disease.Tarn Taran also has a highly revered Gurudwara built by Guru Arjan Dev in AD 1768. This Gurudwara is built in memory of Guru Ram Das.
